For herself. And for you.

I did not come to Pilates to open a studio. I came, eight years ago, to a room that asked nothing of me but attention. I have stayed.

Before Henderson, I lived in the other rooms where women are studied and still not seen: a doctorate in science education at Columbia; years teaching, designing how people learn; years as a data scientist, reading the quiet patterns in how a system forgets a woman the moment she becomes a mother. I built tools for her skin after birth. I measured what classrooms leave out. None of it was wellness. All of it was the same question: where is the hour that is hers?

Red light is not a trend in this house. It was in my family long before it reached an American menu. I wanted it in the same door as the reformer, so tending to herself would stop meaning appointments stitched across town.

Summer Reform is the studio I could not find: late light, linen, warm stone, never a gym. Children a few steps down the hall. A closed door for recovery. A floor where you exercise without fear or judgement. I built it first for myself. I opened it for you.

Henderson is the first room. It will not be the only one.
