The role

The lead instructor opens the floor with us on December 15, 2026. You teach reformer, tower, and Cadillac, modify the hour for the woman in front of you, and set the standard for the room.

Responsibilities

  • Lead group classes on the reformer, tower, and Cadillac, demonstrating proper technique and keeping every person safe.
  • Design and modify the hour for different levels, injuries, prenatal and postnatal needs, and the goal she came in with.
  • Give clear demonstrations and cues so form stays honest through the session.
  • Coach with specific feedback — what to change, and why — and adjust the next class as you see someone progress.
  • Keep the room safe: studio emergency procedures, including CPR and AED.
  • Hold one teaching standard across the schedule.

Requirements

  • Certification in Pilates instruction from a recognized training provider.
  • Proven experience teaching reformer, tower, and Cadillac — not only mat.
  • Working knowledge of anatomy and biomechanics, and clean demonstration.
  • A clear teaching voice in a small room, and care for women at every stage of training.
  • CPR and AED certification, or willing to obtain it before the doors open.
  • Experience leading other instructors, or ready to.
